Privacy policy

This notice explains what personal data we process in connection with the skycrew.hu website and our services, for what purpose and on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and what rights you have as a data subject.

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not appointed one. You can contact us with any privacy question at the email address above.

02 Principles and scope

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information. We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, for specified purposes, and only to the extent and for the time necessary.

This notice covers the skycrew.hu website and the related services. We accept no responsibility for the destination pages of links to external services; those are governed by the relevant provider's own privacy notice.

03 Data processed, purposes and legal bases

3.1 Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form on the website, we process the following data:

3.2 Email correspondence

We process the content of our email correspondence and the data it contains in order to keep in touch, deliver the service and keep matters traceable. Legal basis: consent and performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)). Retention: for a reasonable period after the matter is closed, and in line with applicable accounting and limitation rules.

3.3 Social media management on client instruction

On behalf of our clients we create, schedule and publish social media content on Facebook pages and Instagram accounts managed by the client. In doing so we handle the access permissions (access tokens) provided by the client and the content to be published. Legal basis: performance of the contract with the client (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). See section 5 for more detail.

3.4 Technical data and cookies

We use technically necessary (session) cookies for the proper operation of the website, and the server may automatically log technical data (such as IP address, browser type and time of access) for security and operational purposes. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

In addition, we may use analytics and marketing cookies to measure traffic and optimise our advertising, typically via Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook Pixel). These are activated only with your prior consent, which you can give on the cookie banner shown when the site first loads, and withdraw at any time (by clearing your browser cookies). Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). These providers may also act as independent controllers; their own notices describe their processing.

04 Processors and recipients

We use the following service providers (processors). They process data only to the extent needed for their task, and on our instructions:

We may disclose your data to authorities or courts where required by law. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

05 Facebook and Instagram data (Meta platform)

As part of our social media service we use the official Meta (Facebook, Instagram) APIs to schedule and publish content on behalf of our clients on the pages and accounts they manage. In doing so:

The access granted to us can be revoked at any time in the client's Meta Business or page settings, or on request via hello@skycrew.hu. Meta's own privacy policy describes how Facebook and Instagram process data.

06 Data security

We protect data against unauthorised access, alteration, transfer, disclosure, deletion or destruction with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access restrictions, and separate, protected storage of access keys.

07 Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:

You can submit your request to hello@skycrew.hu. We will respond without undue delay and at the latest within one month of receipt. Requests are handled free of charge, except for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.

08 Data deletion request

You may request deletion of the personal data you shared with us or that we process in the course of our service at any time. To do so, send an email to hello@skycrew.hu with the subject "Data deletion request" and, for identification, state which data you want deleted (for example the email address you used to contact us).

We fulfil the request without undue delay and within 30 days at the latest, and inform you accordingly. Please note that some data cannot be deleted before the end of the mandatory retention period due to legal obligations (for example accounting rules).

Please also note that our social media service does not collect or store personal data of Facebook and Instagram followers (see section 5), so there is no such data for us to delete.

09 Remedies

If you believe your rights have been infringed, please contact us first at hello@skycrew.hu - most issues can be resolved quickly. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority or bring a court action:

10 Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to amend this notice at any time, for example due to a change in law or the launch of a new service. The version in force is always available on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
